How to use WhatsApp to protect yourself from SMS threats

WhatsApp has a new feature that lets you send a text message if you receive a threat that is not actually an SMS.

If you are the victim of a threat, you can send the message in the following manner:From the Messages tab, tap on the green icon in the upper right corner.

Tap on the text field to the right of the message.

You can choose to send a message via SMS, or to send the text to your phone or other device.

Tap Send to send your message to your Whatsapp account.

Once the message has been sent to your WhatsApp account, you’ll see an alert with a link to open the app.

Once you open the WhatsApp app, you will see a screen like this:You’ll need to confirm the confirmation before you can view the message, and you can also tap on Send to see a message with the text in it.
