Trump’s new Twitter account got a new name Thursday as it expanded to include more than a dozen new topics, including his campaign.
The new Twitter page, called the “Trump Twitter,” includes posts from his campaign, his administration and his administration staff, along with links to a “thank you” section and “about” section, The Wall Street Journal reported.
The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The announcement comes a day after President Trump and his son, Donald Trump Jr., were forced to apologize after the New York Times published a report alleging that Trump Jr. met with a Russian lawyer during the presidential campaign.
Trump Jr.’s lawyers initially denied the meeting occurred, and then said it was part of a Russian government effort to help Trump’s campaign win.
Trump Jr. was the subject of a congressional inquiry into his meeting with the Russian lawyer and whether his statement to investigators was truthful.
