Posted September 21, 2018 06:23:19 It’s been a long, long time since we’ve had a new generation of game consoles.
Nintendo’s Wii U was released back in 2011 and Microsoft’s Xbox One and Xbox One S followed in 2013.
But the first generation of console games have always been limited to niche genres.
In the first year of the Xbox One’s launch, games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Grand Theft Auto V were available on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 respectively.
That limited the console’s audience, but they also made for great games.
There’s a reason why so many of the games released for the first console generation were either terrible or unimpressive: they weren’t the first ones.
We had a lot of games that were good in the first place, but weren’t really the best, or even the best.
“Games that were better in the beginning were actually the ones we tried to be successful with the first time around,” says Josh Holmes, who runs the studio behind games like Journey, The Last of Us and Tomb Raider.
That’s what made The Last Of Us, which came out in 2014, so appealing to the people who bought the game and the people that wanted to play it.
It was a great start for the series, but it’s not a very good first-generation game.
In 2017, The Order: 1886, an action-RPG, released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox Scorpio.
It’s not the best action game out there, but its first-gen predecessors, the Call of Duty: Black Ops series, are.
And if you’ve ever played a first-person shooter, you know that even those games have their flaws.
The Order isn’t even the first entry in the Call Of Duty franchise, as there’s no Black Ops 2.
“The reason why Call Of Die, Call of Die 2 and Black Ops are so popular is because they’re the ones that are most accessible,” says Holmes.
“If you don’t want to play a lot more games, then you’ll be stuck playing those.
But if you do want to, then those games are a great way to start.”
The same goes for the Xbox’s new consoles.
Xbox One X is going to be the most powerful console ever, but not the most affordable, with an MSRP of $499.
It has a 4K display and 1080p at 60fps, and the console also includes a Kinect camera.
That means you can pick up a $500 Xbox One or an Xbox One Pro for $1000.
Both of these systems will have much more power than the Xbox 720, which had a 1080p display and 4K video, but was still about $100 cheaper.
But even the cheapest Xbox One can only play some games at 1080p, and you can’t get the new games on the new Xbox One XL, which will be more powerful, but still only has 4K at 60 frames per second.
“It’s really hard to get a game on an Xbox console that has 4k at 60 fps,” says Jim Sterling, a former Xbox executive who now works as a partner at EA and is now a senior director at NPD.
“That’s not going to happen.”
What’s more, if you’re a casual gamer who wants to try something new on a console that only has 1080p video, then Xbox One games are going to feel like the Xbox games you played before.
“There’s going to still be a lot you can do with games that you can play on a 1080 console, but the resolution of the game is going a little bit lower,” says Sterling.
“You’re going to want to try new things.”
This is where Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro comes in.
“What we did with the PlayStation 4 was we built it for a really specific reason,” says Sony’s Pete Hines, who helped design the PS4 Pro.
“We wanted to have more power in games.
We wanted to use more power.”
And the PS Pro, with its much higher processing power, is a great example of that.
It also has a much smaller screen, so you dont have to worry about seeing the same game twice.
That makes games feel even more powerful and allows the developers to make more unique and exciting experiences.
“I’ve spent my life building games for this kind of console,” says Hines.
“So it’s really important to me that we’re always pushing the envelope and making sure that we don’t get stale.”
That’s a lot to say about the PlayStation Pro.
The PlayStation 4 also has some pretty good specs.
The biggest selling point is the fact that it has 8 teraflops of computing power, compared to the PlayStation 5’s 6 terafls.
That translates to more pixels in games and more memory to work with.
Sony says the PS 4 Pro will have a frame rate of 4K, up from the 5.6 fps of the PS 5.
